Video: Glenties Graveyard Blessing 2020

Normally, the first Sunday of July at 3:00pm is a time of special significance each year in Glenties. Great numbers of people, young and old, together with friends from throughout the country and beyond gather to pray for our dead and to remember them with affection and love.

Due to COVID-19 this is neither possible nor warranted this weekend. In its place, these prayers are offered for all our dead family and friends.

May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
