Naomh Conaill Notes 2nd July 2009
Congratulations to our U12s who produced a marvellous team performance to beat St Eunans 3-14 to 2-6 in the Co Final last Sunday evening in Ballybofey. They played some stunning football and were very deserving winners and a lot of credit must go to the management team of Damian Craig, Seosamh Mac Ceallabhui, Michael Quinn, Vincent Cranley and Martin Mc Dyer who put in so much work with the team all year and had them well prepaired on the day and got their just rewards. A big thank you to all our colourful supporters who never let us down and once more travelled in large numbers to cheer on the team and were their to light bonfires and welcome the team home and give them a massive homecoming and a evening they never forget. Thanks also to Eurofish Sales Ltd through James Griffin who sponsored tops for the team and to Harry Reid and the Comprehensive School for the use of their field for training. The U12 B team played Mac Cumhaills before the Co Final and we would like to thank Luke Gavigan for arranging this as it was very much appreciated.
