Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 25th May 2015
There was no winner of this week’s lotto, the numbers drawn out were 11-18-19-25 and the €50×2 went to Ann Timoney, Knockletragh and Mary E Bonner, Glen Rd, next week’s jackpot will be €3,900.
Our senior and reserves got off to winning ways on Sunday last in the club championship at home vs Dungloe with a score line Reserves 2-12 to 3-4 and senior 2-14 to 1-8. Well done to all involved.
Best of luck to our senior men this weekend in The All Ireland Gaeltacht weekend in Ardara on Saturday morning vs An Ghaeltacht at 12.45 and also to our senior ladies team who play Leitir Mor Saturday evening at 5.00pm. Please come out and support both teams. There are three Gaeltacht game on Saturday in Glenties starting at 11.00am, The club would like to ask anyone if they can help out in any way to please call down to the field or contact any executive member. Your help would be gratefully appreciated.
Congratulations to our u16s who overcame Mac Cumhaills on Sunday evening last in Glenfin with a score line of 3-14 to 0-8 in the division 1 semi-final and who now go on to play Muff on fri 29th May in O’Donnell park in the league final at 7pm. Please support a fantastic team.
Well done to our u14s who overcame Naomh Naille in the division 1 league on Monday evening with a score of 5-10 to 3-3.
Congratulations to our very own Jack Flannery who was chosen to attend the Ulster U16 elite training camp in Jordanstown.
Congratulations to the county U14s ladies who became Ulster Champions on Sunday last, congratulations to all the Naomh Conaill representatives Bronagh Gallagher, Amy Boyle Carr and Sophie Connaghton.
A New club 200 draw is starting in June and there is a limited amount of places left, if you want to be in the draw every month you can contact Daniel McGeehan, James Griffin, Kevin Keeney or any executive member ASAP. Price for draw is €10 every month, €100 once off payment or €50 every 6 months.
