There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 7, 24 and 30. Two prizes of €50 went to Annie Boyle Station Road and Louisa Byrne Glen Road. Next weeks jackpot is €3,600.
The U13’s got their year off to a winning start with a very comprehensive victory over Dungloe. Dungloe 3-06 6-12 Naomh Conaill. Next Sunday 1st September they are home to Kilcar at 12 noon.
Well done to the U16 team who defeated Killybegs in the preliminary round 1st leg of the championship.Killybegs 1-05 5-16 Naomh Conaill. The 2nd leg is due to take place in Glenties on Wednesday 4th September.
Well done to the U21 team who are through to the quarter final after they defeated Ardara by six points. Naomh Conaill 0-13 0-06 Ardara. They now play Convoy in the quarter final.
Congratulations to the reserve team and their manager who are through to the reserve county final after they defeated Four Masters in the semi final. Naomh Conaill 1-08 0-06 Four Masters. They now play Gaoth Dobhair in the final.
The senior team secured two more valuable points in Towney on Sunday when they defeated Kilcar 2-13 to 2-08. Well done boys.
A Mr and Mrs competition takes place in the Highlands hotel on Saturday 7th September as part of Eileen Gallaghers Lord mayor competition. A great nights fun is in store when eight local couples battle it out to take the honour of the perfect Mr and Mrs. Tickets to attend are available from the Highlands hotel, the Co-Op at just €10 or by contacting Eileen herself or any of the participating couples. Doors open 9pm.
