Naomh Conaill Club Notes 23rd July 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto.The numbers drawn were 1, 14, 17 and 26. Two prizes of €50 went to Jimmy Mc Kelvey Fintown and Rosaleen Quinn Summy Portnoo. Next weeks jackpot is €3,100.

Next Monday 29th July the U12 team will take on Killybegs in Glenties @ 6.30pm in the championship final. Good luck to all involved.

The U16’s were beaten in the league on Monday night by our neighbours Ardara. Naomh Conaill 2-13 3-12 Ardara.

The third team were beaten by St Eunans in the junior B championship 1st leg on Saturday evening. Naomh Conaill 2-12 1-16 St Eunans. The 2nd leg will be played this Sunday 28th at 3pm in O’Donnell park Letterkenny.

The Naomh Conaill 5k run/walk takes place on Friday 9th August at 7pm starting from the clubhouse. Please come out and support your local club by running/walking or take along the buggy. Small kids are welcome to take their bikes to cycle along with a walker. Registration is from 6pm. There is ample parking and full changing/shower facilities. Tea and refreshments will be served immediately after the run/walk. A bouncy castle will also be on site to keep the children busy. Entry fee is €8 for adults and €3 for under 16’s.

Good luck to the Donegal senior football team when they take on Laois in Round 4 of the qualifiers this Saturday evening at 5pm in Carrick on Shannon.
