Naomh Conaill Club Notes 19th September 2012
There was no winner of this weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2,16,24 and 27. Two prizes of €50 went to Martin Doherty Meenahalla and Aoife Kilbane, Ardara. Next weeks jackpot is €3,200.
Congratulations to everyone who won prizes in our Harvest Fair draw. Prize winners were 1st €1,000 JD Boyle Mill Road, 2nd 42″ Flatscreen television John Mc Closkey, 3rd 2 All Ireland Football tickets Susie Houston Portnoo, 4th Digital Camera Kevin Ward Edeninfagh and €100 Cartha Boyle Ard Patrick. Thanks to everyone who helped sell tickets, to everyone who bought tickets thanks for your support and to Leo and Annette for letting us do the draw in their premises.
Congratulations to the U-10 team and their management on winning the Dessie Hill Tournament in Belfast on Saturday.
The U-13 game due to be played last week between Naomh Conaill and Four Masters was cancelled. This Friday they are away to Dungloe at 5.15pm.
Commiserations to the U-14 team who were beaten in the county final last Sunday by St Eunans.
The minor team bet Naomh Mhuire in the championship quarter final on Sunday in Dooey. Naomh Conaill 0-11 1-06 Naomh Mhuire. They now play St Johns in the Regional semi final this Friday evening at 6.30pm in Donegal Town.
The third team was beaten by Ardara in the Junior B Championship.Ardara 2-07 1-08 Naomh Conaill.
The senior team play Killybegs in the final of the Patsy Brogan Memorial Tournament this Wednesday 19th at 6pm in Donegal town.
The club is starting a Last Man Standing, entry forms are available from Martin Doherty, Martin Regan and Eunan Mc Glinchey. Min €300 for the winner. Pick one team to win every week in the premiership. €10 to enter.
The Club would like to wish Anthony, Leo, Dermot,Marty, Jim, Joe and all the Donegal squad the best of luck for this weekends All Ireland final against Mayo in Croke Park.
