There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 11,23, 29 and 30. Two prizes of €50 went to Helen Flannery Naomh Conaill Clos and Karolina Byrne Glen Road. Next weeks jackpot is €3,400.
Congratulations to Ethan O’Donnell who was a member of the Donegal U16 team that won the Buncrana cup on Saturday beating Tyrone 3-06 to 0-03. Ethan scored 1-01 in the final – Well done Ethan.
In the U16 league game played on Monday night Naomh Conaill won by the narrowest of margins. Naomh Columba 0-06 1-04 Naomh Conaill. Next Monday they are home to Aodh Ruadh at 7.30pm.
In the reserve championship quarter final between Naomh Conaill and St Eunans it finished all square. Naomh Conaill 2-06 1-09 St Eunans.
The seniors secured two valuable points in the league on Sunday when they overcame Ardara 0-09 to 2-06.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the 5k on Friday evening. It was a great success. A big thank you to all those who helped out, especially the tea ladies and those who helped out with the stewarding, registration and baking. As part of his Lord Mayor campaign Brian Boyle is running a GAA summer camp in Davy Brennan memorial park from Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd August from 10am to 2pm. Many county players will be coaching. Cost is €20 per child with every child receiving a free water bottle. The camp is opened for children aged 6 to 15 years.
