Naomh Conaill Club Notes 11th April 2012

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 7,11,17 & 26. Two prizes of €50 went to Tommy Donaghue, Naomh Conaill senior team and Ownie Mc Menamin, Fintown. Next weeks jackpot is €2,300.

The U-12’s get their season underway this Monday 16th April @ 6pm with a Go Games Blitz in Killybegs. They are hosts to Naomh Conaill, Naomh Columba and Dungloe.

The U-16’s were beaten by Ardara in the league on Monday night. Ardara 0-07 0-04 Naomh Conaill. Despite the defeat they are through to the League Regional semi final on Monday 23rd April. Before that they are in the Preliminary Round First Leg of the Championship away to Dungloe on Monday 16th April @ 7pm.

The minors also get their season underway this week when they are home to St Nauls in the league on Friday 13th April @ 7pm. They then are away to Dungloe on Wednesday 18th April @ 7pm.

Congratulatios to Tommy Dwyer who was appointed 3rd team manager for the coming year. They played their 1st game in the league last Saturday against Glenswilly and were beaten 2-05 0-13. This Saturday they are away to Pettigo @ 7pm.

Both the Seniors and Reserve team were in league action on Monday against St Eunans. Our reserve team lost 3-11 2-09. The senior team recorded a victory on a score line of St Eunans 1-10 1-12 Naomh Conaill. They now turn their attentions to a home clash against Glenswilly this weekend. The club is currently selling Club Donegal cards. Theses cards gives you free admission to all club matches (league, championship & underage) in the county.
