Glenties Notes on October 27th 2002

Congratulations to Breid Boyle Fintown and Gerard Gallagher, Termon, who were married in Fintown on Saturday last.

Congratulations to Jimmy Sweeney, Gortnasillagh and Heather Elliott, Lettermacaward, who were married on Saturday last.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of James Gallagher, Glen Road, Glenties, who died in Letterkenny Hospital yesterday, Sunday 20th October. His remains are coming home today and funeral is on Wednesday.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Bella Devenney, who died suddenly at her home in Dungloe, on Saturday last. Sympathy also to her nephew, Charlie Mc Cann, Mullantyboyle, Glenties. Bella and her family lived in Glenties for a number of years and had many friends in the area.
