Glenties Notes on June 14th 2000

THE CHURCH OF IRELAND DANCE
The Glenties Church of Ireland Supper Dance will be held in the Highlands Hotel tonight, Friday the 16th of June, music by Cannon & Ramsey Band, supper served at 9.00pm. Tickets on sale locally at £8.00, your support will be greatly appreciated.

GROTTO
The refurbishment of the Grotto is now underway. The damaged metal railings are being removed to be replaced by a stone wall. The material being used to construct the wall is stone granite. Persons with leftover amounts of this material, who are willing to donate it to this community project, are asked to contact Richard McCafferty as soon as possible (Tel 51113). Your help is greatly appreciated.
