Glenties Notes on February 17th 2005
Congratulations to Glenties Bowling Club players, Paddy Boyle and Fr. Adrian Gavigan on winning the Burtonport Pairs Tournament and to John Hegarty and Pat Walsh who were Runners-Up. Congratulations to Christy Hegarty and Pat Walsh who reached the quarterfinals in the recent St. Johnston Tournament.
Sincere sympathy is extended to John Joe Melly, Main St. Glenties on the death of his sister, Annie Crawford, which took place recently in Scotland.
The 24-hour Shoe-the-Donkey Marathon sessions organised recently by Denise Boyle in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties raised 4,391.00Euro for the Tsunami Relief Fund. Denise wishes to thank all those who were involved in the event.

A Barn / Céilí & Set Dance will be held in the Community Centre, Glenties on Friday 18th February. Dancing is from 10.00p.m. until 1.00a.m. Music is by Art Mc Nally and admission is 7.00 Euro.
