Glenties Notes 7th March 2008

Congratulations to Grainne Breslin and Colin Mooney who were married in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Friday last.

Congratulations to Jenifer and Patrick Roarty, Killarney on the birth recently of their third child, a baby sister for Tiernan and Fiachra. Patrick is a son of Fergus and Breege Roarty, Ard Mc Gill, Glenties.

Scoil Mhuire Book Fair is on this week from Tuesday 4th March until Friday 7th March, from 3.00p.m. – 4.30 daily and from 7.00p.m. – 8.00p.m. on Wednesday.

A Celebration for the 40th Anniversary of St. Columba’s Comprehensive School will be held on Saturday 6th September. If you are interested in attending, please contact the school at 9551172 and leave your name and the year you first attended the school.

A Service for Women’s World Day of Prayer will be held on Friday 7th March, in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties in the small Chapel at 8.30p.m.

Next Sunday 9th March the 11.00a.m. Mass in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties will be celebrated as the Family Mass, for which the Children of the Parish prepare the Liturgy.
