Schools Re-opening
Scoil Mhuire will Re-open for all pupils on Tuesday 1st September. 
St. Riaghan’s N.S. Drimnacrosh will Re-open on Tuesday 1st September. 
St. Columba’s Comprehensive School will Re-open as follows – Monday 31st August ~ 1st Years only. Tuesday 1st September 1st 3rd and 6th Years except 6LCA. Wednesday 2nd September ~ All students except Repeats. Monday 7th September ~ Repeat Students.

Bingo
The winners at the Tuesday night Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties were- Clare Keeney and Marianne Davidson, Burtonport shared the Jackpot – €200 each. Ann Marie Hunter, Aoife Harkin, Joseph Martin, Margaret Murray, Isobelle Mc Loone, Glenties, Sean Carr, Kilcar and Angela Martin, Leitir won € 100 each. Libby Mc Gowan, Isobel Boyle, Mag Murray, Annie Buchannan, V. Granaghan, Donegal, Teresa Mc Kelvey, Fintown, Kathleen Kerry Selers, James Byrne, Maas, D. Mc Gill, Fintown, John Boyle, Fintown, Fiona Boyle, Glenties and Maura Kilbane, Ardara won € 50 each. Liz Buckley, Bernadette Gallagher, Frosses and M. Campbell, Fintown won €35 each. Charlie Mc Casson, Dungloe, Isobelle Mc Loone, Glenties, Roisia Campbell, Fintown and Nora Mc Hugh, Glenties won € 25 each. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Harvest Fair Cycle Challenge
Naomh Conaill are holding a 30 km cycle challenge on Sunday 13th September as part of the Harvest Fair celebrations. Entry Fee is € 20 and participants must complete a registration form before Monday 7th September. Forms are available from Committee members or ring 087 2546592.

Playgroup & Afterschool
Glenties Playgroup and Afterschool will re-open on Tuesday 1st September. For returning children the Playschool morning session is from 9 a.m. – 11.15 a.m. and newcomers from 11.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. These times apply only for the first week. Playschool Afternoon session is from 1 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. Afterschool session will run as normal from 2 p.m.

Collection
The Church Gate Collection taken up on 8th & 9th August for The Co. Donegal Association of Parents and Friends of People with Intellectual Disability Ltd. amounted to € 749.16. The Association wishes to thank everyone who made a contribution.

Workers Wanted
General workers are required for a Community Employment Scheme which is commencing in the Glenties Area on 25th September. Anyone interested should please phone 087 9695053.
