Glenties Notes 22nd January 2008

A good night out for all the family will take place on St. Bridget’s Night in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties, with Cross Making, Irish Dancing, Raffle and Supper. Proceeds are in aid of the Glenties Fun Park. Admission is 7 Euro for adults and 3 Euro for children, Family (2 adults + 2 children) 15 Euro. Come along and enjoy a good night’s fun and support this worthwhile cause.

First Holy Communion for children of St. Riaghan’s, Kilkenny N.S. and Scoil Mhuire will take place in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Saturday 26th April at 11.00 a.m. Mass.

The amount raised from the Christmas Crib Collection in Glenties, in aid of Maria Rafferty’s work in Ethiopia was 990 Euro and in Edeninfagh it was 185 Euro. Thank you for your contribution.

The Care of the Aged Committee A.G.M. will take place in the Day Centre on Monday 28th January at 8.00p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Glenties Walking Circle – Monday – Wednesday – Thursday leaves the Community Centre at 8.00p.m. goes by Mullantyboyle 0 Altar, takes approximately one hour. Everyone is welcome. Fluorescent Clothing must be worn. Come on….bring a friend.
