Glenties Notes 1st January 2008

Congratulations to Seamus Hunter, Meenagrubby, Glenties who played on Winning Streak on Saturday night on behalf of his wife, Annmarie (nee Mc Dermott).

Congratulations to Michael Herron, Letterilly and Donna Duffy, Glenfin who got engaged at the New Year.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the nephews, nieces and other relatives of Peggy Brennan (nee Gallagher, Straoughter, Glenties) who died in Birmingham on Christmas Eve 24th December 2007.

Sincere sympathy is extended to Donal Trimble, Ard Patrick, Glenties on the death of his mother Bridget Trimble, which took place suddenly at her home in Lettermacaward last week; also to all the relatives and friends.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Maura Magee, Clydebank, Glasgow, who died on Monday 31st December 2007. Maura was a daughter of the late Neil and Mary, Campbell, Church Road, Glenties.
