U/14 Football:
Congratulations to the U / 14 Girls who won the County Final when they beat Termon recently in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny.
Best wishes to the U / 14 Boys who are through to the County Final after winning the Regional Final and beating Buncrana in the County Semi-Final.
Water Safety Weeks 2014:
The annual Water Safety Weeks will take place in Narin and Portnoo during the weeks of Monday 28th July to Friday 1st August and Monday 4th to Friday 8th August. The aim of these weeks is to increase awareness of all aspects of sea swimming and water safety. All levels of beginners and swimmers are welcome; under the supervision of qualified instructors they will work towards a suitable certificate awarded by Irish Water Safety. Registration for all will take place at the beach at 9 a.m. on Monday 28th July and Monday 4thAugust, and a timetable will be given to the parents then.
Piano – thon and Concert for Hospice:
On Sunday 27th July the Music Students of Anne Mc Dwyer are taking part in a “Piano – thon” to raise money for The Donegal Hospice. This is taking place in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties, from 10 a.m. through to 6 p.m. All the students will be taking part and playing the piano throughout the day. Admission is by donation so feel free to drop in. In the evening, there will be a more formal concert at 8 p.m., with performances by past and present senior students with a raffle at the interval. Admission is € 10.

The Donegal Hospice Church Gate Collection:
The Donegal Hospice Church Gate Collection, taken up recently in Glenties & Edeninfagh, amounted to € 572.07. Many Thanks for your contributions.
Annie Behan Memorial Walk / Run.
The Behan Family would like to Thank Everyone who helped in any way in organising or taking part in the Annie Behan Memorial Walk / Run. The amount raised was € 1, 737 for The Donegal Hospice.
Open Day at The Church of Ireland Glenties:
An Open Day at the Church of Ireland Glenties with Cake Sale and Tea Party will take place on Tuesday 22nd July from 11.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m.
