Congratulations to Maria and Michael Brannigan, Ard Patrick, Glenties on the birth recently, of their third child, a baby brother (Orin) for twins, Conan and Tierna.
Congratulations to Sinead and Kevin Brannigan, Longfield, Lettermacaward, (formerly Highlands Hotel, Glenties) on the birth recently, of their first child, a baby girl (Aine).
Congratulations to Patricia and Julian Molloy, Kilraine on the birth recently of their baby girl (Shauna) a little sister for Orla and Leah.
Congratulations to James Mc Dermott, Meenagrubby, Glenties and Eilis Walsh, Tallaght, Dublin who got engaged recently.
The amount raised at the Self Help for Africa Church Gate Collection taken up in October amounted to 640 Euro. Thanks to all who contributed to this worthy cause.
The amount collected for Donegal Hospice by the local choir when they were Carol Singing before Christmas amounted to 650 Euro. Thanks to them and to all who contributed.
The following night classes will be starting in St. Columba’s Comprehensive School on Monday 21st January – Intermediate Computers, Digital Photography, Simple and Delicious savoury meals, Conversational French, Flower Arranging, clever ideas with recycled materials and wax painting, Beginners Computers, Beginners Guitar and Creative Grafts. Yoga – Evening Class takes place in the Community Centre, Glenties on Wednesdays, 7.30 – 9 p.m. Cost 60 Euro for an 8 week course.
Payroll- Manual & Computerised, 8 weeks in the Community Centre, Glenties, Monday night 7.30 – 9 p.m. Cost €50. Start date 11th February Places available.
